an urban-type settlement in Kniazh-Pogost Raion, Komi ASSR. Trakt has a railroad station on the Kotlas-Vorkuta line. The settlement has a logging and timber distribution establishment.


Trakt

 

in Russia, an improved dirt road connecting major population centers. Trakty had marker stones spaced 1 verst (1.07 km) apart and stations with inns. Regular transport of passengers and freight was conducted on trakty, and mail was carried on postal trakty, which had post offices.
