Transpose of a Matrix

 

The transpose of a given matrix A = ǀǀaikǀǀ is the matrix obtained by interchanging the rows and columns of A. The transpose is sometimes symbolized by A’ = ǀǀa’ikǀǀ, where aik = aki for any i and k.
