Tres Arroyos
a city in Argentina, in the province of Buenos Aires. Population, 34,100 (1960). Tres Arroyos has a railroad station. The city is a commercial center of the pampas, an area whose principal economic activities are cattle breeding and the cultivation of grain (mainly wheat). Industry includes the processing of agricultural products.
