Power-troweled, roller compacted concrete with surface characteristics and performance potential approaching conventional flatwork has turned on Maryhill and a handful of other RCC Surface Pro troweling aid demonstrations.
RCC Surface Pro is spray applied in tandem with troweling, which generates a paste ready for floating or brooming.
Keep surface covered with burlap or canvas kept continuously damp until ready for floating and troweling. Moist cure as soon as possible without marring the surface; some form of curing with water should be used since it will maintain or lower the concrete surface temperatures.
Possible Cause: Floating and troweling when there is an excess amount of moisture at the surface or while concrete is still too plastic.
It lubricates, making troweling easier, reducing drag, and minimizing blade wear and operator fatigue.
Troweling is one of the trickier steps in concrete finishing.
