Tsageri

 

a city (since 1968) and the administrative center of Tsageri Raion, Georgian SSR. Tsageri, which is situated on the right bank of the Tskhenistskali River, a tributary of the Rioni, lies 90 km north of the city of Kutaisi. Tsageri is the location of a winery and a combine for the production of foodstuffs. The city also has a museum of local lore.
