Tsemi

 

a climatic health resort in the Georgian SSR, 18 km from Borzhomi. Tsemi is situated at an elevation of 1,117–1,140 m. The resort has a sanatorium for the treatment of nontuberculous diseases of the respiratory organs and a children’s sanatorium for the treatment of inactive forms of tuberculosis.

Over the past several years scholars at the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute (TsEMI) of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow have been engaged in a research project of great potential value, one which might usefully be applied in a wide range of enterprises and industries in the West as well.
