Tubaphone
a percussion instrument. The tubaphone is a glockenspiel whose bars have been replaced by a set of 12 to 36 small metal tubes. Sound is produced by striking the tubes with two wooden sticks that are curved and thick at the ends. The tubaphone is used in variety-stage orchestras.
