Tuchman, Maurice

(1936–  ) museum curator; born in New York City. He graduated in art history from City College of New York in 1957 and took a master's degree from Columbia University two years later. He became curator of 20th-century art at the Los Angeles County Museum (1964). An expert on contemporary art, he wrote extensively for professional journals.
