Tugur Peninsula

 

a peninsula in Khabarovsk Krai, RSFSR, between Tugur Gulf to the west and Akademiia and Ul’ban gulfs (Sea of Okhotsk) to the east. Tugur Peninsula is approximately 100 km long and has elevations ranging to 929 m. It consists of two mountain massifs 20 to 40 km wide, connected by an isthmus 1 km wide. The peninsula is covered by mountain taiga of dahurian larch.
