Turdetanians

 

members of Iberian tribes in southern Spain that inhabited a region called Turdetani, present-day Andalusia. In the late third and early second centuries B.C., these tribes were conquered by the Romans, and the region they inhabited was made part of the Roman province of Hispania Ulterior in 197 B.C.
