Turki

 

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Turki Raion, Saratov Oblast, RSFSR. Turki is situated on the right bank of the Khoper River, a tributary of the Don. A 13-km railroad branch line connects it with the Letiazhevka station on the Rtishchevo-Balashov line. The settlement has a fruit cannery, a creamery, a poultry-packing plant, and a poultry hatchery.
