USB-IF

(Universal Serial Bus-Implementers Forum) The organization that governs the USB standards. Introduced in 1995, the USB-IF provides vendor certification for USB interfaces, including ports and cables. The USB-IF holds the trademarks for USB Type C and USB-C, the latest USB connector and cable type. See USB and USB Type C.
