[′yü·nə‚fȯrm ′spās]
(mathematics)
A topological space X whose topology is derived from a family of subsets of X × X, called a uniformity; intuitively, this gives a notion of “nearness” which is uniform throughout the space.

Greenslopes, Australia, April 29, 2019 --(PR.com)-- With increasing competition in the Australian hospitality industry, and an attempt for hotels, restaurants and cafes to "stand out" in a crowded marketplace the demand for custom uniforms has increased and created a niche market in the uniform space.
A family F of functions from a uniform space (X, N) into a uniform space (Y, M) is called uniformly equicontinuous [12, Chapter 7, Problem G] if for each V [member of] M there is [universal]\ [member of] N such that (f(x),f(y)) [member of] V whenever f [member of] F and (x, y) [member of] U.
A uniform space (X, [GAMMA]) is a nonempty set X equipped with a uniform structure which is a family [GAMMA] of subsets of Cartesian product X x X which satisfy the following conditions:
Young Chan Kim and Seok Jong Lee [10,11] have discussed some properties of Fuzzy quasi uniform space. Tomasz Kubiak [7,8] studied L-Fuzzy normal spaces and Tietze extension Theorem and extending continuous L-Real functions.
By a quasi-uniform space (X, U) we mean the natural analog of a uniform space obtained by dropping the symmetry axiom.
By (X, A) we mean a sequentially complete [T.sub.2]-separated uniform space with a uniformity generated by a saturated family of pseudometrics A = {[[rho].sub.[alpha]](x, y) : [alpha] [member of] A}, A being an index set.
In many industries the CIE [L.sup.*][a.sup.*][b.sup.*] colour space is used because it is approximately a uniform space. The [L.sup.*] coordinate denotes the lightness and has a range between 0 and 100.
This turning point is occurring at a critical moment, and probably reflects the convergence of individual memories of Africans around the globe towards a uniform space of collective memory in the face of culture and history, politics and economics.
Britain's American empire was by no means 'a uniform space or an homogeneous system' (p.
Rather, inspired by Heidegger's own reflections on place, art, space, and technology, Groth offers a "fanciful genesis" of geometry and of the transformation of the world of things and places into a uniform space of objects and relations--a "dream" from which Groth would have us be roused (p.
