Ushkovo

 

an urban-type settlement in Leningrad Oblast, RSFSR, under the jurisdiction of the Sestroretsk raion soviet. Ushkovo has a railroad station on the Leningrad-Vyborg line, 55 km from Leningrad. The settlement has sanatoriums, houses of rest, and boardinghouses. Ushkovo was named in honor of D. K. Ushkov, Hero of the Soviet Union, who died in June 1944 on the Karelian Isthmus.
