Uspekhi Sovremennoi Biologii

 

(Advances in Modern Biology), a journal published by the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Moscow. The journal was established in 1932, and is published bimonthly. It contains theoretical and review articles concerning important advances in various branches of biology, including biochemistry, biophysics, cytology, experimental morphology, virology, genetics, animal physiology, plant physiology, ecology, experimental oncology, and radiobiology. A regular feature is a department devoted to summaries of the work of international congresses, all-Union congresses, conferences, and symposia on all branches and problems of biology.
