Uttarashada

Uttarashada

(religion, spiritualism, and occult)

Uttarashada (the latter unsubdued) is one of the Nakshatras (lunar mansions) of Vedic astrology. This Nakshatra, like Purvashada, is represented by a bed or an elephant’s tusk, but is ruled by the Sun at Sagittarius 26°40’ to Capricorn 10°, and Viswadevas, a combination of all the gods, presides. People may find themselves more fun loving and modest during this time, but also may take on too many others’ problems and become very stressed. This is a good time to invest in something for the future.
