Varna Vino

 

an urban-type settlement, administrative center of Varnavino Raion, Gorky Oblast, RSFSR, on the Vetluga River, 36 km north of the Vetluzhskaia railroad station (on the Gorkii-Kotel’nich line). Population, 3,300 (1968). There is a logging and timber distribution establishment and a dairy.
