Velikie Mosty

 

a city in Sokal’ Raion, L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Rata River (tributary of the Bug), on the L’vov-SokaT highway, 16 km from the Gorniak railroad station. Population, 4,800 (1969). There is an industrial combine and a brick works. It was founded in 1472 and became a city in 1940.
