A vertiport is a heliport capable of handling a Bell Agusta 609 plane, known as a tiltrotor, which takes off and lands vertically like a helicopter, but can move at jet speed and carry six to nine passengers.
The vertiport will be situated atop a new building, dubbed the Melia Sao Paulo Office Park, in one of the ritziest and busiest commercial districts of the city.
