Vestnik Mashinostroeniia

 

(Journal of Machine Building), a monthly scientific-technical and production journal of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the Ministry of Machine-building and Instrument-building Industry of the USSR, and the Central Board of the Scientific-Technical Association of the Machine-building Industry. Published in Moscow.

Vestnik mashinostroeniia was founded in 1921; prior to 1941 it was issued under the title Vestnik metallopromysh-lennosti (Metal Industry Bulletin). It deals with problems of technical progress in machine building; of the construction, design, testing, and reliability of machinery; and of the technology of machine building, as well as the organization and economics of production. Circulation, 11,500 (1971).
