Vestnik Protivovozdushnoi Oborony

 

(Journal of Air Defense), a monthly journal of the country’s air defense forces. It has been published in the USSR since 1931. Publication was temporarily suspended at the end of 1940 and was resumed in April 1958. The journal publishes materials on the questions of the military training and political education of personnel; combat instruction; tactics of antiaircraft rocket forces, fighter aircraft, and radio engineering forces; operation and perfection of existing weapons and equipment; and the history of air defense forces. It also deals with the development of means of air and space attack, radioelectronics, aerodynamics, and missile technology abroad.
