Villari, Rosario

 

Born July 12, 1925. Italian historian.

Villari wrote studies on the social and economic history of the Kingdom of Naples and other Italian states in the 17th through 19th centuries and on the historical explanation of the backwardness of southern Italy (The Southern Question) from a Marxist point of view.
