Vinberg, Abram Il’ich

 

Born Aug. 29, 1908, in St. Petersburg. Soviet lawyer and criminologist, doctor of juridical sciences, professor (1949), and Honored Scholar of the RSFSR (1967).

Vinberg became a state legal counselor, third class, in 1960. He has been a member of the CPSU since 1940. His principal works concern criminology and criminal action.
