Vinniki

 

a city in L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR; located four km east of L’vov. Population, 10,000 (1968). The city has tobacco and garment factories, as well as a brickyard. Founded in the second half of the 13th century. Vinniki officially became a city in 1940.
