Virtus

(religion, spiritualism, and occult)

Virtus, asteroid 494 (the 494th asteroid to be discovered, on September 7, 1902), is approximately 98 kilometers in diameter and has an orbital period of 5.2 years. Its name is a personification of the Latin word for “virtue.” In a natal chart, Virtus’s house and sign position indicates where in life one displays virtue in the original sense of power and excellence. When afflicted, Vera may signal false virtue.
