Vizhas

 

a river in Arkhangel’sk Oblast, RSFSR. Length, 219 km; basin area, 3,050 sq km. The Vizhas originates from a small lake and flows into the Chesha Bay of the Barents Sea. It is fed by snow and rain. The flow of the Vizhas is regulated to a certain degree by lakes.
