Volnovakha

 

a city (since 1938) and administrative center of Volnovakha Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR; located 60 km southwest of Donetsk. Railroad junction. Population, 24,000 (1970). Volnovakha has railroad transport enterprises.
