WDS

(Wireless Distribution System) Two or more Wi-Fi base stations (access points) that function as a single system. WDS base stations forward packets to other WDS stations and can simultaneously accept new connections from users while forwarding packets from ongoing user sessions. All stations use the same encryption method, keys and radio channel but can have different service set identifiers (SSIDs). See Wi-Fi, access point and 802.11s.
