WRAM

(Window RAM) An earlier type of RAM developed by Samsung Electronics that was optimized for graphics cards. Although faster than VRAM, it used the same type of dual-ported structure that simultaneously refreshes the screen while text and images are being drawn in the memory. See GDDR.
