Location:Just south of Anamosa on the Wapsipinicon River.
Facilities:30 campsites (@di; 15 with electrical hookups), modern restrooms and showers in campground, 2 day-use lodges (é), open picnic shelters (é), nature trail, multi-use trails, boat ramp, 9-hole golf course.
Activities:Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, cave exploring.
Special Features:One of Iowa's first state parks, Wapsipinicon affords hikers views of rocky staircases, crevices, and caves from its bluffs. Mushrooms, nuts, and berries may be harvested in the park.
