Wengen

(vĕng`ən), mountain resort, Bern canton, S central Switzerland, in the Bernese Alps. It is a summer and winter recreation area. The nearby Wengern Alp (vĕng`ərn älp), at 6,160 ft (1,878 m), has a beautiful view of the Jungfrau peak.
