Mitchell Shire's was the first of these 7 metre capsule units and adjustments made during its introduction into service were incorporated into the later units for Hume-Moonee Valley, Mildura, West Gippsland and Wellington Shire.

Minister for Health David Davis, together with Local Member for Narracan Gary Blackwood today officially opened West Gippsland Health Care Group s revamped emergency department (ED) at Warragul Hospital.
Today s opening is fantastic and the expansion will enable West Gippsland Healthcare Group continue to meet the needs of its community now and into the future, Mr Blackwood said.
The Andrews Foundation has been a valuable contributor to West Gippsland Healthcare Group over a long period of time, Mr Davis said.
