Windows Marketplace for Mobile

Microsoft's online store for downloading apps for earlier Windows phones (the Windows Mobile platform). Introduced in 2009, paid applications are purchased by credit cards or via charges through the cellular carrier. This online store does not support the Windows Phone platform, which superseded Windows Mobile. For the Windows Phone app store, see Windows Phone Store. See Windows Mobile, Windows Phone and online app store.
