Specifically, the AUC of the XIC of two unique peptides (Figures 2(a) and 2(c)) on NF-M were quantified and normalized to the average AUC of three peptides matching spinophilin in the spinophilin IPs.

This additive model on [log.sub.2] transformed peak areas is motivated from the assumption that electrospray XIC peak areas are proportional to the product of a peptide ion specific constant and sample concentration of the peptide ([AUC.sub.ij] ~ [P.sub.i][S.sub.j]).
MRM-MS XICs that have been integrated with MultiQuant or Skyline are exported into comma-separated value (csv) files.
Use all transitions of a peptide (peak area from XICs) to calculate relative ratios by either the minimal pairs or all-pairs method.
