Yijing (or I Ching, also called Zhouyi) was written in the Zhou dynasty, which spans a period of eight centuries (1075-256 B.C.).(12) It is a book of philosophy and metaphysics, although it has always been associated with divination and oracular pronouncements.(13) The central idea of Yijing is the principle of yi, or "change," which originates from the interaction of the two opposite yet complementary primal forces in nature:
yin and yang. Some meanings that have been assigned to
yin and yang are negative and positive, dark and light, weak and strong, retreat and advance, and feminine and masculine.
Furthermore, it seems that
Yin and Yang perspectives are seen in their view of interpersonal communication.

It is not the purpose of this article to articulate the function of each
Yin and Yang pair.
There is a fundamental Asian philosophy epitomized by the
Yin and Yang. This universal duality comes down to such Buddhist verities as "black is best seen in the presence of white" or "day can not exist without night." Applied to urban philosophy, this might become adapted by us to declare that private living quarters become more private and precious when experienced in contrast to a vibrant, fast-paced neighborhood environment.
We can harmonize the
