Yishai's interior ministry first announced it in March 2010, as US Vice President Joe Biden visited Israel and the Palestinian territories to lay the groundwork for new direct peace talks between the two sides.
"God willing, it will be approved," Yishai, who heads the ultra-Orthodox Jewish party Shas, told Israel Radio.
Recently, during the operation "Cast Lead," Yishai demanded that we "bomb thousands of houses, to destroy Gaza" -- which does not hinder him from denouncing Judge Richard Goldstone as an abominable anti-Semite.
"You cannot tell us we must not build within the settlement blocs," said Yishai, whose party holds a pivotal number of seats in Netanyahu's four-month-old coalition, on a visit to a West Bank settlement.
"This wholesale marketing of prisoners just delays the release of (abducted Israeli soldier) Gilad Shalit, and damages the social fabric," said Minster of Industry Trade and Labor Eli Yishai.
Israel"has got to show unshakable motivation in the face of the danger of being turned into 'a country of all its infiltrators,'" warned Yishai. "There is no other solution, except putting all of the infiltrators, down to the very last one, in the holding facilities, taking away their work permits, and putting them on planes back to their country or a third country."
HEBRON, June 2, 2012 (WAFA) -- Israeli settlers fromRamat Yishai settlement in the southern West Bank city of Hebron Saturday set fire to ancient olive trees in Tel Rumeida, a neighborhood in the center of Hebron, and attacked a local youth center and houses, said local sources.
There, Israeli politicians and right-wingers--including Knesset Members and rabbis who are paid by the government--gathered to discuss the "problem "of foreigners (read: non-Jews) in Israel, or as Interior Minister Eli Yishai put it, how to "protect the Zionist enterprise." David Sheen attended the conference and, via Twitter, reported on the politicians and rabbis' incitement.
"Israeli journalist Yotam Feldman was released following an intervention by Israeli Interior Minister Eli Yishai with Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman," said the Israeli official, who asked not to be named.
The paper reported that the NGOs, in an open letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, requested that "officials interfere immediately to end the systematic campaign the government has been waging against opposition voices in Israel." The letter said that a democratic state "does not have the right to repress the opposition," and warned Israeli internal security forces from being dragged into dealing with "internal political disputes." The letter NGOs sent to Netanyahu said Israeli Interior Minister Eli Yishai has accused the NGOs of "working to destroy Israel from the inside."

However, Yishai, head of the ultra-Orthodox Shas party, remains adamant they should go.
