Tushino

Tushino

 

a locality northwest of Moscow. Tushino has been known as a settlement since 1380. From 1608 to 1610 it was the military camp and residence of the Brigand of Tushino—Second False Dmitrii (see). It became a city in 1939 and part of Moscow in 1960.
