Zalari

 

an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Zalari Raion, Irkutsk Oblast, RSFSR, on the Zalari River (Angara basin). It is a railroad station 195 km northwest of Irkutsk. Population, 10,000 (1970). It has a logging and timber distribution establishment and a machinery plant (which produces saw frames and mobile auto repair shops).
