Zodchii

 

(Architect), a journal dealing with questions of architecture and construction, published by the St. Petersburg Society of Architects. It appeared regularly from 1872 to 1917; one issue was published in 1924. The journal had several supplements.Zodchii contained articles about contemporary Russian architecture and construction, as well as about the history of Russian and foreign architecture. The journal’s aesthetic preferences were eclectic and changed in accordance with alterations in architectural tastes.
