Adventure Cycling Association, America's largest bicycle touring organization, has unveiled Pedal Pioneers: A Guide to Bicycle Travel with Kids, an A-Z guide to organizing overnight youth bike trips.
The bikers, for the most part, followed a route established by Montana-based
Adventure Cycling Association, much of it along the Missouri and Columbia rivers - some on trails, most on back roads.

Adventure Cycling Association executive director Jim Sayer and cartographer Jenn Milyko will visit Washington and Oregon on April 6-8 to unveil the AACA's new 2,389-mile Sierra Cascades bicycle route and to share the latest news on bicycle travel and adventures in North America.
Established by the
Adventure Cycling Association, based in Missoula, Mont., the route follows mainly small highways through Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, lllinois, Kentucky and Virginia.
