Apple set-top box

(1) See Apple TV.

(2) A device from Apple that managed an interactive TV subscription and provided analog input to the TV set. It was developed in the mid-1990s for British Telecom and other companies. Based on a Mac Quadra motherboard, units were used in California Disneyland hotels for information and shopping, but the device was never marketed and soon abandoned.
