Bioclimatic Maps

 

maps depicting the influence of climate upon organic life. The most important types of bio-climatic maps are agroclimatic maps, phenological maps, and medical-climatic maps, which constitute a significant proportion of medical-geographical maps.

These bioclimatic maps were designed to help in planning and implementing agriculture and range development in the Algerian arid zone [12,16].
Finally, we compiled three bioclimatic maps showing, respectively, the bioclimates (Map 1), the thermotypes (Map 2) and the ombrotypes (Map 3) for Jujuy province, and using the bioclimatic indices calculated for the 121 localities, and the altitudinal and latitudinal ranges in each bioclimate established.
