The MAG survey has identified around 100 locations across Huddersfield with missing lights or
bollards, including on major roads including the A629 Wakefield Road.
It is understood the staff are working in 12-hour shifts because the rise and fall
bollards suffered a power failure and are not currently operational.

bollards are automated to rise and lower themselves at certain times of the day to prevent pedestrian and vehicle conflict during these busier times of the day.
