Butterfly computer

An earlier parallel processing computer from BBN Advanced Computers Inc., Cambridge, MA. The Butterfly mimicked a crossbar and provided high-speed switching of data between CPUs. It could also be used to create a hypercube topology. See hypercube. See also Butterfly keyboard.
