Dryer, Charles
Dryer, Charles (Redway)
(1850–1927) geographer; born in Victor, N.Y. He practiced medicine and taught biology and physical science before teaching geology and geography at the Indiana State Normal School (Terre Haute) (1893–1913). A charter member of the Association of American Geographers, he urged the humanizing of geography and was a keen exponent of the regional concept.
