Dvoretskii

 

(1) The head of court administration in 15th-17th century Russia, the majordomo; beginning in the 17th century, a court title.

(2) Administrative head of the household of pomeshchiks’ (landowners’) country estates and city residences in Russia from the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th.
