Generic Array Logic
(hardware, integrated circuit)(GAL) A newer kind of
Programmable Array Logic based on
EEPROM storage cells,
been pioneered by
Lattice. GALs can be erased and
reprogrammed and usually replace a whole set of different PALs
(hence the name).
