Jenmin Jih Pao

 

(“People’s Daily”), a Chinese daily newspaper, the organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. It was published from June 15, 1948, first in Shihchiachuang and Hantan, and then, from March 1949, in Peking. TheJenmin Jih Pao fulfills the functions of an official government organ. It had a circulation of more than 1 million copies in 1965.
