Kharlu
an urban-type settlement in Pitkiaranta Raion, Karelian ASSR. Kharlu is located on the Ianisioki, which empties into Lake Ladoga. The city has a railroad station on the Leningrad-Sortavala-Olonets line. Pulp and paper products are manufactured in Kharlu.
