(LINUX Integration Components) A programming interface (API) from Microsoft that allows Linux to communicate with Microsoft's Hyper-V virtualization software. LinuxIC was released in 2009 under the GNU GPL license, which allows it to be thoroughly explored by Linux developers. See GNU General Public License.
